There is something for everyone this week from art and music to festivals, movies and the hunt for the paranormal. From Wednesday February 21 through Sunday February 25th get ready for a Broadway show that was nominated for 12 Tony Awards. Aint Too Proud-The Life and Times of the Temptations is at the Van Wezel. Waterside at Lakewood Ranch has Ranch Nite from 6-9pm every Wednesday until the end of May. There is a Night Market, Food Trucks, Music, a Vintage mobile bar with cocktails, and the largest cornhole league in the nation! 

Brown bag lunch from noon to 1 pm on February 22, Thursday, with Jimmy Mazz. Just bring your lunch and a lawn chair! 

Friday, February 23 you can Paint & Sip: Flamingos. No experience necessary and all materials are supplied. The cost is $45. This takes place at: The Makery SRQ, 821 North Lime Ave at 6pm. 

A great family event on Friday from 7-8pm at the Oval at the Bay, 1055 Blvd of the Arts is an outdoor movie, The Princess and the Frog. (Florida’s answer to the drive-in movie.) And for the first 100 people there is a free scoop of ice cream from Rise up Cafe! 

On Saturday, February 24, the Italian Feast and Carnival takes place at the Venice Airport in Venice from 6-9pm. Or you can head down to Punta Gorda for the Haunts of History Tour from 6-8pm. This is complete with paranormal equipment demonstration. The cost is $29.
